MINSTER YOUTH
Making Jesus known to young people across Preston.
Sundays
We start with a Youth Hangout in the Youth Lounge from 10:30am, with games, time to relax and a chance to catch up with friends before The 11 service.
During The 11, we have a weekly youth gathering for young people from Year 6 to Year 13. We have two groups: Year 6–9 and Year 10–13, where we build friendships, explore faith and learn more about Jesus, while having loads of fun along the way.
We begin the 11am service together with the whole church family, joining in with worship before heading out to our youth groups. It’s a place to ask questions, grow in faith and discover what it means to follow Jesus.
During the week
Older young people can also access one-to-one mentoring during the week with a member of our youth team. This is a chance to build a deeper relationship, talk through life and faith, ask questions and receive support as they grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Once a month, we also have a Friday Social, an evening of food, faith and fun, with activities and plenty of space to invite friends who might not normally come to church. You can find all the dates for the socials here.
In February 2027 we’ll also be launching a new Older Youth midweek discipleship group so keep in touch if you’d like to get involved.

MEET JESS!
Jess is our Youth Pastor and loves connecting young people with Jesus. She leads an amazing team of volunteer youth leaders who are key to making it all happen, as well as leading our Sunday discipleship groups and mentoring young people during the week as they grow in faith.
Jess is also involved in the St Matthew’s church plant, reaching young people in the local community, and connecting with young people through Spear Preston.
