THE 11

Welcome to The 11 at Preston Minster

We think Sunday is the best day of the week!

The 11 is our weekly gathering where we lift our eyes and encounter Jesus together.

Whether you’ve been coming to church for years or you’re just exploring faith, you’re completely welcome here.

We believe Jesus changes everything, bringing freedom, purpose and joy to our lives - and Sundays is all about making space for that!

You can expect a relaxed atmosphere, engaging worship, kids and youth ministries and a message that connects real life with the hope we’ve found in Jesus. Doors open at 10:30am for pastries, coffee and the best welcome of the week!

Use the FAQs further down this page to find out more about what to expect.

Looking for something more reflective? Most Sundays, a small group of us also meet at St James’ Church for a peaceful 30-minute traditional service.

In addition to this we have two disabled parking spaces around the back of church (PR1 3BT). Enabling easy access to the church, where there is a ramp to enter the building.

  • Here at the Minster we are passionate about people being able to access Jesus.

In Mark 2 we read about a paralysed man who wasn't able to get to Jesus. We want to be like those friends in that story by making church as accessible for people as we can!

We have a number of things in place to assist in you joining with us, such as: disabled parking, ramp access, a disabled toilet, a hearing loop system, baby changing facilities, ear defenders for children available at Minster Kid and subtitled videos when available.

We would also like to help in other ways where possible, for example those facing access issues relating to neurodiversity, if you have any questions do contact us via office@prestonminster.org, we would love to hear from you and help the best we can.

  • We have a creche space available in the cafe space during The 11. Parents and guardians are required to stay with their little ones during this time.

  • We would love to help you feel connected with the community at Preston Minster. Fill out our connect form here and someone from our team will be in touch with you.

You can also sign up for our monthly email, located on the footer of our website, to keep up to date with all that’s happening at church.

  • Getting involved and serving on a team is one of the best ways to make new friends, feel a part of the community at church and to play your part in helping make Sundays happen.

For more info on registering interest in joining a team click here.

  • Typically, we gather together to share communion once every four weeks on the second Sunday of the month. Communion takes place during The 11, we serve non-alcoholic wine and offer gluten free bread too.

  • Only registered assistance dogs may accompany people into church for public worship. Unfortunately, we aren't able to accommodate dogs which may be classed as emotional support or therapy dogs.
