Joining a Team at Preston Minster is one of the best ways to play your part in the life of the church.
Through Teams you can use your gifts to make our church a place where others encounter God and find community. You will make new friends and have fun along the way!

There are so many different Teams you can get involved with at the Minster.
Take a look at what each Team involves and register your interest.
Welcome and cafe hosts
Welcome people to our Sunday services, serve food and drink, and help people get connected.
Stewarding and car park
Facilitate the smooth running of Sunday services through opening and locking up the building, ushering and being a general point of help.
Kids
Run Sunday sessions including storytelling, Bible teaching, praying, games and creative play. This role requires two satisfactory references and a DBS check.
Youth
Facilitate Sunday and midweek groups, build a fun atmosphere and invest in the spiritual development of our young people. This role requires two satisfactory references and a DBS check.
Spear
Provide coaching and administrative support to young people facing barriers to employment. This role requires two satisfactory references and a DBS check.
Worship
If you play an instrument or sing, and share a passion for leading people in sung worship, we’d love to hear from you.
Production
Support the running of audio-visuals at our services and large events throughout the year.
Prayer ministry
Provide prayer support to the congregation following the The 11am service through active listening and interceding for those seeking prayer.
Media and comms
For those with skills and a special interest in photography, social media, design and videography.
Facilities
Help take care of the material aspects of our buildings and grounds through maintenance and cleaning.
