Sundays
We think Sunday is the best day of the week!
The 11 is our weekly gathering where we gather together and lift our eyes to encounter Jesus.
Whether you’ve been coming to church for years or you’re just exploring faith, you’re completely welcome here.
We believe Jesus changes everything, bringing freedom, purpose and joy to our lives - and Sundays is all about making space for that!
You can expect a relaxed atmosphere, engaging worship, kids and youth ministries and a message that connects real life with the hope we’ve found in Jesus. Doors open at 10:30am for pastries, coffee and the best welcome of the week!
Use the FAQs further down this page to find out more about what to expect.

The best way to get to Preston Minster is on foot, by bike or by public transport, as we’re right in the heart of Preston city centre. There is limited parking at the Minster, with nearby city-centre car parks available within a short walk.
We also have some parking available at St James’ Church on Avenham Lane on Sunday mornings, just a short walk from the Minster.
During the week
Throughout the week at Preston Minster and across our city, there are lots of ways to get involved, grow in faith and build community.
Alpha runs each term, alongside The Bible Course, Freedom in Christ and groups meeting across the city to build friendships, explore the Bible and pray together.
Collective meets every Thursday for 18–29 year olds, bringing together 30+ young adults for worship, teaching, prayer and socials. There are regular events for Youth too.
Kingdom Come is our monthly evening of extended worship and prayer for our church, city and nation. Each summer, we also head to Focus together as a church family for a week of worship, teaching and community.
Spear Preston is based at the Minster during the week, coaching young people into employment and creating opportunities for them to encounter church for the first time.

Here at the Minster we are passionate about people being able to access Jesus.
In Mark 2 we read about a paralysed man who wasn't able to get to Jesus. We want to be like those friends in that story by making church as accessible for people as we can!
We have a number of things in place to assist in you joining with us, such as: disabled parking, ramp access, a disabled toilet, a hearing loop system, baby changing facilities, ear defenders for children available at Minster Kid and subtitled videos when available.
We would also like to help in other ways where possible, for example those facing access issues relating to neurodiversity, if you have any questions do contact us via office@prestonminster.org, we would love to hear from you and help the best we can. -
We have a creche space available in the cafe space during The 11. Parents and guardians are required to stay with their little ones during this time.
-
